Another day spent in Greenville, South Carolina, our nearby larger city. Most days are usually spent in and around our little rural town, but I adore Greenville and it's nice to enjoy a 'big city' for a change of pace. I wore my
Burda skirt, traced from the BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook with the
Alabama Chanin inspired long-sleeved top underneath a thrift store sweater cardi. We've had a front move through bringing cooler weather so this was a perfect outfit to wear today.
I'd barely gotten back into the house after I took this photo, when the heavens opened up and it rained cats and dogs. The weather has been very strange this year.

Hello Lisa, I'm finally catching up with your last few me made posts. This is a very pretty outfit, but I love the little at home outfit - we all have them, I posted a not really great outfit today as well! I loved your cowl top. I wonder how the Japanese patterns will go - I have one Japanese book, but haven't dipped into it yet.
ReplyDeleteAnd the chickens - they are so pretty.
Thank you for your well wishes, my flare is nearly over, and next week I should be back on top of things :).
I am so glad to hear you are feeling better! Using a Japanese book will be a first for me too! Look forward to seeing what you post!
