Need to stop buying those soft, drapey, clingy knits!! :)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872753120191298033[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-79924929022340245022018-05-28T07:53:14.040-04:002018-05-28T07:53:14.040-04:00Beautiful! I have never seen a top like this before, but now I would like to make one myself. I do find very fine, drapey knits unflattering on most people - they always seems to cling to whatever sort of "shelf" they find - or if fitted, those rolls we get with bras. Having said that, I think this is the sort of top that will be useful - I tend to wear things that are not quite right on housework days, or if I am running low on clothes before washing. And, it may be that it will gradually gain your affection when you find more to pair it with.sarahlizsewstyle.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17566072246120028926[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-89647676007762146252018-05-24T08:27:15.346-04:002018-05-24T08:27:15.346-04:00Knotting the sides is a great idea Katharina!! It may become a favored 'comfy top' or at-home top and may try another sometime in the future. :)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872753120191298033[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-37275292864280064422018-05-24T01:58:56.224-04:002018-05-24T01:58:56.224-04:00I think you should try using the shark hem to tie ...I think you should try using the shark hem to tie knots on each side of the t shirt. Maybe that will work better. I think oversized t shirts look better when they are a little bit cropped and not so super long. The pattern really is interesting and you sewed everything so neatly, I hope you and the top can become friends after all :)Fröbelinahttp://froebelina.de[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-8551442385284889682018-05-23T08:37:38.885-04:002018-05-23T08:37:38.885-04:00What's so funny Sue is that we don't follo...What's so funny Sue is that we don't follow baseball, football, or really any sport either!! Thanks so much for letting me know what you think. I wore this top all day yesterday, as shown here with the shorts, and really quite enjoyed it. You brought up a good point about the sharkbite hemline....hmmmm.... didn't think of that. Thank you so much for your insightfulness and kind compliment! Have a good day!! :)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872753120191298033[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-60442601803074637342018-05-22T19:32:41.105-04:002018-05-22T19:32:41.105-04:00I don’t mind it at all and as I don’t follow baseb...I don’t mind it at all and as I don’t follow baseball, I had no thoughts about the back. On the other hand, if you don’t like it, you won’t wear it so only time will tell. So glad your hubby and daughter said it looks like a baseball shirt because that's the first thing I thought of when I saw it. (Sorry.) :o(<br /><br />I don't think the sharkbite hemline is unflattering on you at all. You're tall enough to wear it and I like the way it draws the eye downward which shows off your good legs. Now if *I* were to wear a hemline like that, I'd look like a gnome!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247[email protected]
