Busy trying to fill everyone's Christmas for homemade Christmas goodies such as scarves, comfy pants ect....but I'm thrilled they asked. But for now going out to look for burlap thinking cute Christmas print flannel for the cuff of the stocking.Remembering..OZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03790275371084859218[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-67454126269321406592014-12-18T13:33:42.833-05:002014-12-18T13:33:42.833-05:00You have such a nice husband Sarah Liz.... and you...You have such a nice husband Sarah Liz.... and you are a good gift giver too. They are sort of cantilevered over the edge in such a way, they don't fall off. We'll see what happens when the stockings get filled! Thank you Erin! I do like your decor.

My husband also likes to give gifts - I now give him a list so that I get more of the things I want (like sewing books) - mind you, some of his ideas are great, like the tiny torch that can slip under a pillow, so you can easily find it at night.

sarahlizsewstyle.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17566072246120028926[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-17119502503144288052014-12-17T21:29:14.117-05:002014-12-17T21:29:14.117-05:00Oh they turned out so beautiful!!! You have such lovely hooks to hang them onto the cabinet too! Your house looks so pretty and ready for Christmas now :)opportunityknitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07117079481971682582[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-46068861405369758322014-12-17T15:30:54.539-05:002014-12-17T15:30:54.539-05:00Good question! Tom is the Christmas tree, Melissa the snowman, Granny the snowflake and because I'm the horse lover and deer are closest to a horse out of these choices - that's mine! In all seriousness, I am thinking about putting names on, but that'll definitely be some time next year. We'll see. Your stockings sound perfect for ya'll - and yes, you do have a very good and thoughtful daughter. I think that might actually spoil the clean, natural look of them.

My daughter has always had her stocking which I knit from a Mary Maxim pattern some forty years ago. It has a big Santa face on it. Her dad and I never had a stocking until she was old enough to request I make one for each of us so she could fill it. (What a good girl!) So I whipped up (knitted) a red and white stripped stock for Papa Pea and a green and white stripped one for me. Our stockings are very funky looking . . . compared to the elegant simplicity of yours!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247[email protected]
