This poncho was not a difficult make. You could easily make one for yourself, and if you do, please send me a photo, I'd love to see. Just wait until your warmer weather kicks in, as surely it should at some point?!, and you can make a couple of sleeveless tops to wear while working out in your gorgeous gardens. That's the way I'm looking at my clothes - they are for my 'daily life', to be 'lived' in. Thank you ever so much for your oh-so-kind compliment!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872753120191298033[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-30828871133149181372014-04-22T09:36:48.479-04:002014-04-22T09:36:48.479-04:00You are alleviating some of my fears of being so s...You are alleviating some of my fears of being so slow as it seemed a scarf should knit up more quickly. To be fair, it was picked up and put down quite a bit. Great point about the poncho button - as it did give the flap's shape a 'purpose'! Perfect for this strange weather for spring time. I would love to knit or even crochet, thinking this will next on my list to learn. Probably crochet, since I know a basic stitch.Remembering..OZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03790275371084859218[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-8743000805496860362014-04-19T19:08:10.235-04:002014-04-19T19:08:10.235-04:00Well, being as how I can't knit at all, I have...Well, being as how I can't knit at all, I have nothing to say about your speed. It's true that it really is "the little things." Love, love, love that scarf, too.<br /><br />Now I'd like you to stop posting all the glamorous pictures modeling the clothing you've made. I look down at my own outfit and give a big sigh. For instance, what do I have on right now? Loose (but comfy) cordouroy slacks, a turtleneck my husband wore with a sportcoat for teaching waaaay back in the 80s when that sort of thing was the style, and a zip up the front hooded sweatshirt. You look like a model straight out of a magazine and in comparison I am a frump. (An acquaintance from years ago, when caught in one of her at-home outifits, would say, "I'm not trying to make a fashion statement here") Guess I'll just keep using that excuse and marveling at your lovely outfits!
