Thank You! Yes, I cut a size 10, sew...Hi Darlene! Thank You! Yes, I cut a size 10, sewed 5/8" seams on my knit fabric(s) at the shoulders and armscyes. Because I was afraid this would be a little too 'boxy', I took 5/8" in under the arm(s) tapering down 5" to the edge of the fabric, then minimal seam allowance for the rest of the seam. As a pear shape, I need that little 'extra' at the hemline. I only sewed a 1/4" seam allowance on the arm seams with my serger as I've found NEWLOOK patterns are a little tight on me there. With all the seams I came back with my serger, using its differential feed and cutting blades, to serge the seamlines and tidy things up after checking for fit. Hope that helps!
