Yep.... that's what it did. Thought if I listed it as a 'Finish' for February for the MAGAM Challenge is would help me move forward again. I think there's even a couple of Halloween costumes in there too!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872753120191298033[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-52844930257989207542015-02-21T15:08:54.348-05:002015-02-21T15:08:54.348-05:00I did wonder if I washed the skirt if that would h...I did wonder if I washed the skirt if that would help the 'flaw'. I did pre-wash the fabric and noticed that line, but it was right on the crease and it never occurred to me that it was anything other than a creaseline. Will not 'assume' anything like that again! You've got a great idea though, in covering it up with a design feature. Will have to think about that one. The nap problem is not so noticeable to anyone but me, as you can't 'see' any differences, just 'feel' them. Our little Towa is such a cutie and so much more fun than any photographs I could seem to produce this day! I can understand your upset with the skirt - I've done the same - we all repeat this lesson as well from time to time - I had to relearn again last year. The flaw is upsetting too - could you run a strip of something down this - some lace perhaps - it will be a woven variation then on the AC look. It's probably a good idea to finish it and it will still make a great house skirt - and you will know what it looks like, especially with regard to length. Just to make you laugh, I've sometimes put things in the bin because of a flaw, only to get them out a few days later, wash them, and start again!!!Sarah Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17566072246120028926[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-71552858203655809642015-02-20T02:40:50.036-05:002015-02-20T02:40:50.036-05:00Towa is gorgeous - did you make the little sweater...Towa is gorgeous - did you make the little sweater?Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01023115170916061414[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748043061128192357.post-69582136600252646832015-02-19T22:23:30.722-05:002015-02-19T22:23:30.722-05:00Oh dear! As for nap it's such a pest and can turn up (or down) in the most unexpected places, not just corduroy and velvet. I made a knit top with a centre front seam and you guessed it, the two sides are a slightly different shade. I wear it anyway, as I doubt a non-sewer would notice. I know it's happened to me more than once. Walk away and don't think about it for a couple of days. You'll get your inspiration back. Promise.
